Sari is the center of Mazandaran’s province. It is located in Alborz mountain side and it has 2 different regions: mountainous and low land.

Sari is 40 meters above sea level and its distance from Tehran is 250 Km. Khazar’s beach is loceted near Sari which is easily accessible.

Sari has a clement climate. This city is also center of business and industry.

Sari is surrounded by Mazandaran’s sea from north, Neka city from east, Semnan province from south, Jouybar, Ghaemshahr, and Savadkooh from west. In ancient history book “ Saru ‘’which means yellow town was used as Sari’s name. The reason that this name was chosen is because of having different citrus trees, especially bitter orange and lemon. One of the most important natural attraction of sari is Sort’s mysterious springs.
