Qom

Qom province includes less than one percent of the total area of the country, therefore its known as the smallest province in Iran which is located in the center of transportations in Iran. Qom is the interface between industrial regions in Iran with Tehran and other provinces and cities in southern Iran on the other hand interface with the Provinces and cities in northern. Qom weather is warm and dry, Qom summers are very hot and the winters are very cold and dry. The best time to travel to this city in the desert is of April, May, September and October.

According to archaeologists, such as Roman Ghirshman, Qom is one of the first places on earth that hosted people. In such a case dating back to the origins of civilization in the city of Qom and its suburbs is about 10 thousand years ago. Qom is "Iran's religious capital and cultural hub". Qom after mashad is Irans second Shiite pilgrimage center,holy tomb of Hz Masume and Jamkaran Mosque are the reasons for its prosperity. Qom is considered to be Irans "Vatican" among Iranians. Qom has many tourist attractions, natural and religious.

The deserts covered with salt, golden hills, sand dunes, mountains, caves and hills of dirt and Salt-Lake are all of the unique desert landscape of Qom.
