Kermanshah
Kermanshah is one of the ancient cities in Iran and in the past, it was along the way in Shahi’s road and Silk road and it was one of the important geographical places in ancient Iran.
Kermanshah is the ninth populous metropolis in Iran and it is the center of Kermanshah province which has 884706 residents and has 93,389,956 square meter area. This is the biggest Kurdish city and the most important city in Iran’s central west region.
Kermanshah is one of historical and cultaral cities in Iran and it was built in the 4th century AD and form that time up to Arab’s attack to Iran, was the second capital of Sasanians. In world war (I) and (II), this city was conquered by foreign armed forces and it was pulled out when the war was finished.
Kermanshah province has diverse climate and it contains all four seasons’climate at the same time. It has mild climate. There are many historical and tourism centers in this city.
Handi crafts in Kermanshah province have a long history and it has developed along with ranching and farming development.Also,it has an important role in economy and life of Kermanshahis people, especially nomads and villagers. This city, which has good medical facilities, is a medical pole in west of Iran.
